This makes our house a very easy drive from Calais (around 7 1/2 hours) or Le Havre (under 6 hours).
Flights & Trains
1.Summer (May to Sept) flights with Flybe have just launched from Manchester & Southampton to Clermont Ferrand just 45 minutes drivefrom the house.
2. Fly Ryanair or Flybe to Limoges and hire a car (2 hours drive) - flights run throughout the year.
3. Fly Jet2.com or other airlines to the newly opened Brive-La-Gaillarde Laroche airport (just 90 minutes drive from the house.
4 Get the train from London to Clermont Ferrand (via Paris) and hire a car in Clermont (less than one hour drive from the house).
