It can be difficult to find dog-friendly accommodation where pets are welcome. Fortunately the location of our house and the fact that hard-wood floors are fitted throughout makes it ideal for pet-lovers. We also have an enclosed front garden designed to keep small dogs, including our Westie Parsley in.
There's a very good vet in nearby La Boourboule who is happy to stamp your pet passport if you're taking your dog bag to the UK. There's even an excellent dog grooming centre in La Bourboule which will ensure your dog looks tip top.
And of course there are the superb walks in the area! From short walks around the village to long hikes up to the Banne D'Ordanche and beyond.
Last but by no means least is the fact that just about any restaurant or bar welcomes well-behaved dogs. So unlike in the UK you can enjoy a meal while your dog sits under the table.
